Cooking Pasture-Raised Pork

Our first-ever on-farm cooking class! Pork is a versatile and flavorful meat packed with nutrients like Vitamin D when raised on pasture. In 3-4 hours, learn how to make rendered lard, pork chops, pork pie, BBQ pork ribs, home-cured bacon, and ham with a homemade cheese sauce. Taste it all, too!

  • Limited to 10 attendees.
  • Free with purchase of half or whole pig (see our bulk pork page for details). Order due July 15th, 2011.
  • Non-pork-purchasers may attend for $35 each ($60 for couples).
  • Receive a copy of all the recipes you try.

    I am interested in this class if it has not already taken place. Please let me know if spots are still available or if additional classes become available.

      We haven’t had the class yet; we are finalizing the bulk pork orders, and once that is done, we will schedule the class. It will likely be late June. Are you interested in a half or whole pig, or just attending the class?
