Shady Grove Ranch distributes Coyote Creek’s certified organic non-soy, non-GMO livestock feeds, including a laying hen ration, broiler ration, swine finishing ration, and sow ration. Minimum 10 pound purchase. You must provide your own container and pick up at the farm. All mixed livestock feed protein content is 16-18%, depending on the application.
We have found that young monogastric animals (like chickens and pigs) benefit from supplementing raw skim milk and/or meat scraps to augment their protein intake. Typical soy-based feed rations are much higher in protein, but we feel that the heavy reliance on soy in farming operations is neither good for the animals nor the humans consuming them.
